The Shawnee Public Library will give new computer users multiple chances to improve their skills later this month in the Computer Training Center of the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
The library will host a pair of three-day series of classes, offered once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
The schedule includes:
Introduction to Computers, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 – For new computer users, a look at basic terms and functions, including a lesson using a mouse.
Introduction to the Internet, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 – Basic tips on searching the World Wide Web. For new computer users.
Getting Started with Email, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 – Create a free email account using one of several free services available online.
Registration is required separately for each class and may be completed online, at the library, or by calling 275-6353.
