Get into the holiday spirit with craft programs in Purcell

The Purcell Public Library is getting into the holiday spirit with several Christmas-themed craft programs in December that offer a little something for all ages.

The library’s Wednesday afternoon craft programs will take on a Christmas theme throughout the month, with hot chocolate and cookies to get children in the mood for the holiday. The programs are for school-age children and take place at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 4, 11 and 18.

At 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, the library hosts a pair of craft projects, one for children and one for teens or adults.

Children will be taking parts from old puzzles and giving them a new life as Puzzle Piece Ornaments to decorate their tree.

At the same time, teens and adults will be using supplies provided by the library to make their own ornaments.

Registration is not required to attend any of the programs.
